Yang Sports Center Recreational Program

Registration Guideline

 

2024 Fall: 10/5/2024 -- 12/15/2024

On this page, you will find all the necessary resources to register your player and pay the registration fees for the upcoming recreational program with Yang Sports Center (YSC). Please note that all players must register and pay fees through the Byga app.

 

Please read the following guidelines carefully before making payment, as it is essential to understand our policies and prevent any potential disputes in the future.

Overview

YSC is proud to offer year-round pod training tailored specifically for boys and girls born at 2019 and earlier. Each pod encapsulates a small cohort of up to 10 players, led by a professional coach dedicated to imparting fundamental soccer techniques. This format allows children to enjoy soccer alongside friends, classmates, and teammates, further enriched by participation in the little league games.

 

Who: Boys and Girls, born in 2019 and earlier

Limit: Maximum of 10 players per group

Lessons: 9 Weeks x (one training on Sat. + one game on Sun. )

                  Oct. 5  --  Dec.15

When: Saturday, 55-minute field training at a scheduled time

            Sunday, One Little League Game at a scheduled time

 

Training Locations:

  • Palo Alto site: Greer Park Field Field(Grass Field)

  • San Mateo site: Marlin Park Redwood City (Grass Field) / Brewer Island Elementary School

  • San Jose site:  Mercado Park, San Jose

  • Fremont site: Central Park (Grass Field)/Sigman Field at Centerville Community Park
    (**Please select only one site when you register)

 

Saturday Training Schedule & Location:

  • San Mateo: Saturday 9:00 am - 9:55 am (Marlin Park Redwood City)

  • Palo Alto: Saturday 11:00 am - 11:55 am(Greer Park)

  • San Jose: Saturday 1:30 pm - 2:25 pm(Mercado Park)

  • Fremont: Saturday 3:30pm - 4:25 pm(Central Park)

 

Sunday Game Schedule:

  • 10:00am - 11:00am 

  • Palo Alto Greer Park Field 4

Registration Time

Join us any time

If you join in the middle of the season, you're only charged for the left portion of trainings and games.

 

About the Tuition

The registration fee includes coaching fees for weekly training, insurance, and facility use. This fee will be collected through the Byga App and does not include the cost of uniforms.

 

Uniform Ordering

All players in the recreational program are required to wear the YSC uniform during each practice and game. To order your uniform, please visit the official online store (https://www.aaysacademy.org/product-page/pod-uniform). Uniforms can be picked up at the field, and you must present your uniform order confirmation at the time of pickup. Players will not be allowed to participate without the YSC uniform.

 

Withdraw, Pro-rate, and Refund Policy
Players who withdraw the registration one week before the first training will receive a full refund of their registration fees, minus a non-refundable processing fee of $80. After that date, no refund requests will be accepted. 

 

Cancellation/Reschedule Policy

YSC will make every effort to reschedule a practice session in the event that training is canceled due to rain, smoke, or coach/field unavailability. While we will try to accommodate as many players as possible for the rescheduled practice, we cannot guarantee that every player's request will be met. Please note that there will be no refund provided if the player is unable to attend the rescheduled practice.

Makeup Policy

YSC cannot offer makeup sessions. We strongly encourage all players to attend each practice as team sports require commitment and punctuality.

 

YSC Holiday Observation

Please note that there will be no training sessions held on the following holidays: Independence Day, Labor Day, Halloween, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Week, Christmas, New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Presidents’ Day, and Memorial Day.

Code of Conduct and Payment Terms

At Yang Sports Center, we prioritize creating a positive, safe, and encouraging environment for everyone involved in our programs. Therefore, we maintain a zero-tolerance policy towards any form of negative behavior from parents - including but not limited to abusive words, threats, or actions towards players, coaches, officials, or other parents. Any such behavior will not be tolerated, and may lead to immediate removal from our program without a refund.

In addition, we reserve the right to refuse service to anyone, in line with our commitment to maintaining a safe and respectful environment for all participants.
